New York Fashion Week is about exploration and revelation, on Sunday Fashion Designers of Latin America (FDLA) presented emerging Latinx fashion talent with multiple shows held at the Chelsea event venue Canoe Studios. New York Fashion Week, held in February and September of each year, is a semi-annual series of events in Manhattan, NY typically spanning seven to nine days when international fashion collections are shown to buyers, press, and the general public. The highly anticipated shows provide leading designers from around the world with an unmatched global platform to showcase the latest trends, new luxury designers and the evolution of American fashion.

Headlining the FDLA show are internationally-known designers Custo Barcelona and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and 2022’s Project Runway winner Shantall Lacayo.

The fashion show held on Sept. 10 at Canoe Studios, featured 13 Latin American designers (full list below). The show featured 150 models including Miss Universe contestants—Miss Columbia and Miss Honduras.
