1. Hello Cesar, You have built an impressive and distinguishable career, working with dogs and pet owners for over 25 years. Aside from your training tips and instructional videos you have also created innovative ways and tools to enhance your training methods. How do you feel that technology has become an integral part in not only training pets but protecting them?

Technology is for connection, communication, and relationship. Technology is moving extremely fast, and humans are becoming more and more intellectual about it. We have advanced and offer dogs the ability to live their life safely off leash. I encourage these smart device tools such as the Halo Collar, which will give your dogs the rules, boundaries, and limitations they need, while allowing them to live freely and safely.

2. You are a Co-founder of the Halo Collar, along with Ken and Michael Ehrman. Can you tell us a bit about why you became involved in this innovative project, what it means to you and how it is important for the safety of beloved dogs.

I was approached by Ken and Michael Ehrman from the beginning because of my “natural, simple, profound” approach to dog psychology. I wanted to help solve the problem of 10 million pets being lost in the United States each year. I knew I had the ability to help, alongside Ken and Michael’s technology expertise. I helped create a collar design that I truly believe is the best for both dog and pet parent.

3. Can you explain what virtual fences are, and how they work? They offer customizable sound, vibration, or static. Can you further explain what this means?

The collar stores up to 20 wireless fences that you create, and continuously calculates when your dog is near the boundary to prompt them to turn around. The built-in training technology gently teaches dogs to respond to customizable prevention and encouragement feedback, including a variety of sounds and vibrations. All feedback is customizable, so pet parents can find what works best for them and their dog.

4. What sets the Halo Collar apart from other chips or GPS devices? How does it ensure the safety of its users?

Halo recently announced its newest model, the Halo Collar 3, which offers first-of-its-kind advancements that leverage only the most direct GPS satellite signals when calculating your dog’s real time location anytime, anywhere. Everything is customizable, so pet parents can find what works best to keep their dog comfortable and safe.

5. You are considered a world-renowned dog behaviorist. How do dog psychology methods come into play in regards to the device? Do you see any different behaviors based on different breeds and recommend specific settings based on factors like weight, size, breed?

The Halo Collar app includes my 21-day training program including premium lessons about my approach to dog physiology. People across the country can now access my training and have the Halo technology that reinforces them even when not at home. Halo Collar is fully customizable so each pet parent can choose what is best for their dog as they go through the 21-day training program together.

Over 150,000 dogs across more than 350 breeds are living safer, more fulfilling lives off-leash while being protected by Halo.

Can one use the Halo collar on dogs who are within the confines of an actual fence? If so, what would be the recommendations?

Can one use the Halo collar to keep the dogs away from the fence? Please advise. Thank You.
