How do they keep the scent ?
We use high quality scent pellets that are contained within a pouch that is inserted into the plush during production.
Typically, the scent remains at full strength for about 9 months. After that, over time, the scent will gradually decline. Some of our originally samples that we produced several years still have a recognizable scent.
How were the scents created and chosen?
For scent selection, we started by identifying the scents that we wanted to pair with each plush character. From there, we worked with scent suppliers to obtain samples and we began sniffing. 🙂 It was very important to find just the right “lemon.” We definitely did not want to end up with a plushie that smelled like a cleaning product.
What’s the best way to keep them clean and retain the scent?
The best way to clean our plush, scented or not, is to spot clean with gentle soap.
