KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE
Spoiler Free Review:

I was lucky enough to score tickets for the advanced screening of the upcoming Action/Adventure comedy spy film Kingsman: The Golden Circle releasing in theaters this week. The sequel to 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service was impressive and a solid succession of the original. Being a huge fan of the first film as well as the comic book series I was super excited for this movie.
Kingsman is based on the comic book “The Secret Service” by (writer) Mark Millar and (artist) Dave Gibbons.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle; written by Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn, is everything you want and more. The entire film is insanely action packed literally from start to finish! The explosive film features a brilliant ass-kicking all-star cast, new impressive gadgets, and over-the-top action sequences. From an adrenaline fused car chase, to bringing characters back from “the dead”, to an epic take-down, The Golden Circle delivers!
Part 2 picks up with our favorite super Spy bad-ass Eggsy (Taron Egerton) in an epic bond-like car chase throughout London. The opening sequence was definitely one of my favorite scenes.

After the Kingsman headquarters is destroyed, and the world is under attack by a ruthless drug cartel, the remaining Kingsman must form a new team. They discover another secret spy organization; a US counterpart of allies. We are introduced to a slew of new characters known as the Statesman, led by the ill-tempered boss known as Champ (Jeff Bridges). Members of the Statesman include Tequila (Channing Tatum) and Ginger (Halle Berry); they make a cool addition to the cast. I would like to see more from this duo.

The question we all have been wondering about is finally answered! How is Harry/ Galahad (Colin Firth) brought back for part 2 if he was shot in the head?! Harry Hart is undeniably a fan favorite, so fans were ecstatic to see him return to the series. Also returning is our beloved Merlin, played famously by (Mark Strong).

Being a “Kingsman” is more than the clothing we wear or the weapons we bag. It’s about willing to sacrifice for the greater good. I hope you’re ready for what comes next. It’s important.- Harry Hart
Julianne Moore was fantastic as Poppy, the villain criminal mastermind running a worldwide drug cartel. Poppy is a member of the secret new world order group “The Golden Circle”, and she unleashes complete madness causing a worldwide panic. Poppy comes off as sweet and cheery, but don’t let her colorful persona fool you, she is brutal. She’s like Martha Stewart on LSD.

Kingsman once again does a terrific job of making their villains raging homicidal maniacs while still just being human.
Not only was there great cast chemistry, but phenomenal action sequences. The way the fight scenes were shot it’s like taken straight from the pages of a comic book. I loved all the edgy spy gear, our favorite bullet proof umbrellas and the loads of new tech.
The film perfectly tied into the first, and still has its original dark humor, exaggerated violence and great dynamic between the cast. Our favorite tailored heroes left us excited, captivated and ready for more. It topped the first! I didn’t know how they were going to top Harry’s insane church shootout scene but they did it!

Best film I’ve seen this year! I definitely plan to see it again. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is about a 9/10 in my book and 100% a must-see!
