Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is a sinister, sensual and deliciously gothic reimagining of the classic horror that explores a period accurate depiction of Germany and Romani Folklore. Strong performances from leads Depp, Hoult and the unrecognizable grisly (Count Orlok) Bill Skarsgård paired with a strong creative team make for a delectable treat this holiday season. The macabre and gorgeous dreary grey practical sets and locations with Jarin Blaschke’s cinematography, and Robin Carolan’s score are the perfect blend for this gothic horror.
