We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word – SHAZAM! – this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult superhero Shazam

The second trailer for Shazam! is reportedly arriving this month. Directed by David F. Sandberg, the next DCEU film will debut Zachary Levi as the titular character alongside Asher Angel playing his human alter-ego, young Billy Batson. The dual-personality hero will take on Doctor Sivana, who will be brought to life by Mark Strong. Not much is known regarding plot specifics for the flick, as Warner Bros. is keeping details tightly under wraps. –ScreenRant

Whenever he utters the word SHAZAM he is struck by a magical bolt and calls upon the heroes and gods of various mythologies, (gaining the power and abilities of Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury) transforming into Captain Marvel.courtesy of comic vine

Captain Marvel is often mistakenly referred to by his mentor, the wizard Shazam’s, name. The confusion comes from legal issues surrounding Captain Marvel’s publication/trademark history.”

It’s not like we expected Marvel or Disney to slip up and reveal Avengers 4 secrets ahead of their time, but Feige confirmed that marketing videos will be limited to the first few minutes of the film.
