Heroes & Villains combines the energy and fandom of Comic Con with an after party at NYCās Iconic 230 Fifth Rooftop and Penthouse.
Embrace your inner hero or villain as you walk the red carpet, dance to your favorite pop culture anthems, and pose with your favorite cosplay characters all with a Gotham city view that the Dark Knight would go batty over. Show off your costume in our cosplay contest for a chance to win cash prizes and capture your experience with our themed photo ops.
Cosplay Contest Rules:
- Sign ups begin at 8PM
- 1st round begins at 8:30PM and will take place on the red carpet
- Final round will take place on the main stage
- Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place
- The winner will be determined by a scoring panel made of judges
- Scoring will be based on the following criteria: costume craftsmanship (props, wigs, clothing), attitude on stage while wearing costume, overall appearance, overall attitude
- The costumes may be from a published character or original works
- No pyrotechnics, fire, explosive devices, live animals, or similar special effects
- Contestants may not fire or throw anything into the crowd
- Each contestant may enter only one costume into the competition
